Data Entry/Operations Assistant:
This entry-level position is geared towards credit analysis, project management and customer service· Process, review, and verify applications along with all documentation included in the application.· Perform all processing and closing tasks required to deliver a loan in compliance with company standards and best practices from point of application to approval to underwriting, including data entry, application package, and status updates.· Be responsible for tracking communications with clients on the status of loan files, answering questions, and providing other information as necessary to get the loan ready for closing, and may assist in scheduling the loan closing.· Create and update internal CRM with correct information in a time-sensitive and accurate manner· Manage many customer applications at one time in an organized and effective manner with strong attention to detail· Be entrepreneurial in thought, always looking for new ways to streamline processes and innovate wherever possible.· May be tasked with reviewing data integrity of loan files; reviewing and analyzing credit, income, asset, and property documentation; ensuring the file meets all compliance and guidelines; collecting documentation from borrowers; and organizing and packaging loan files to submit to the underwriting department.· Perform other duties as required; opportunity for reporting and projects as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Willingness to be a team player and wear many hats to get projects done.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills are a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, complete tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of lending/banking processes a plus.
- College degree preferred but not required
- 1-2 years experience in an office role
