Equipment Finance Relationship Manager:
The Equipment Finance Relationship Manager will drive revenue growth by managing a book of business and prospecting for commercial equipment dealers/vendors and business owners nationwide. The ideal candidate has a history of acquiring new business, achieving and exceeding sales targets, and enjoys the challenges of building relationships while educating and promoting Jupiter Equipment Finance’s financing options. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, a proactive and persistent attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to customer needs and preferences.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Strive to provide an exceptional customer experience throughout all interactions.
- Meet and exceed monthly quota goals consistently to contribute to overall team success.
- Actively develop new business opportunities and maintain and nurture existing business relationships.
- Utilize networking, research, and outreach strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Input and maintain accurate data in Salesforce for effective account management.
- Prepare and present tailored financing solutions to a diverse vendor and customer/end-user base.
- Conduct 40 calls daily, maintaining an active and aggressive outreach program.
- Prepare quotes and skillfully negotiate financing options when appropriate.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all product offerings and effectively communicate the benefits of financial products.
- Maintain high levels of communication with Vendors, Customers, and Credit and Funding teams to ensure all items required to complete the transaction are understood by the customer, completed correctly, and received promptly.
- Review credit approvals and assist with training customers on what is required to receive faster approvals.
- Adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical sales practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred. Without a bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma or GED, and three (3) years of experience in commercial, small business, equipment financing, or related inside sales will be considered.
- 2+ years of successful sales experience, specifically in originating equipment finance transactions or comparable experience at an F&I Department of an equipment dealer or the equipment finance department of a specialty lender or bank.
- Provide details and substantiate revenue numbers over the past 12 months.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to learn additional systems as required.
- Ability to research, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
- Well-developed negotiation, consultative sales, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to different audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
